Giving back has always been close to my heart. At one point in my life, I dreamed of becoming a pediatric nurse. Not only to provide medical care, but to be present for children and families in the moments that felt heavy. I wanted to offer comfort, kindness, and reassurance, even if only for a moment. Knowing I could make someone feel seen or supported during a difficult time meant everything to me.
Life eventually led me down a different path, but that desire to care for others never left. Photography became the way I could continue showing up with intention and heart. It allows me to connect, to listen, and to give something meaningful back to others. Because of that, giving back is woven into the foundation of my work.
What Giving Back Means Here
Giving back is my way of sharing a portion of what I earn with organizations that serve people, animals, and the places that mean the most to me. With every photography session booked, or with the purchase of one of my personal landscape, nature, or wilderness prints, two percent of the total goes directly toward an organization making a difference.
I want my clients to feel part of this process. When you book a session with me, you will see a Giving Back question included in your questionnaire. This gives you the opportunity to choose which organization your session will support. Your voice matters here, and I am grateful to share this purpose with you.
Organizations Close to My Heart
Keep Tahoe Blue, Clean Up The Lake, and Tahoe Rim Trail Association
Lake Tahoe is my home, and protecting it is deeply personal. Keep Tahoe Blue focuses on preserving the lake’s clarity and long term ecosystem health. Clean Up The Lake works hands on to remove pollution from the lake, shorelines, streams, and lake bottom. Tahoe Rim Trail Association maintains and protects the Tahoe Rim Trail while encouraging responsible recreation and environmental stewardship throughout the region.
